What data do we collect?

We only obtain data from individuals and couples relevant to their wedding or event to provide them with the best possible service.   All information is voluntarily given and submitted for our use. We never share any details with any third-party company or organisation.  In order to do this, we will collect your basic contact information including your name, contact phone number, email and postal address.  

How do we collect it? 

This data is all acquired via data collation forms on our secure website, via our contact forms at events you may attend, contact made to us by email or other messaging services. 

How will we use it? 

By collecting this data, it enables us to provide you with the best possible service. We use your contact information to respond to any queries and reply to emails and to contact you should we need to discuss any element of your booking.  We will use your postal address to send booking confirmation documents which require signing and returning to us in order to process your booking. We sometimes use your address to send a small gift to you once you have booked our services. By collecting this information, it also allows us to keep you informed of any updates to our services such as the addition of new props, special offers, competitions and events.  If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at a later date.  

How will we store it? 

We keep your data secure using a secondary system which follows the same GDPR rules which we have been obliged to adhere to. They are safe and secure with a password protected entry system.  

In the unlikely event of a criminal breach of our security we will inform the relevant regulatory body within 72 hours and, if your personal data was involved in the breach, we will also inform you. 

How long do we keep it? 

If we provide you with any paid services, we are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed. Your information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information. You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. 

What are your rights? 

You have the right to be informed about the collection and use of your personal information and you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.
